Give Tiffany a second chance at a healthy life!

Hi, I’m Lauren. Anybody who knows my girlfriend Tiffany, knows that she would never ask anyone for help unless it was beyond critical, so I am doing it for her. She’s the first one to help others in need but often forgets to include herself in that category, even though we all have needs sometime… it’s ok to ask for help.

Tiffany’s doctors have recommended a surgical procedure to give her a second chance at living a full and healthy life. The surgery would reduce, if not eliminate: pain and suffering, eliminate other medical issues she is experiencing, reduce risk for more serious health complications, as well as improve her health overall and quality of life.

Tiffany has been overweight her whole life and through the Body Positivity community, she has finally learn to love and embrace every curve of her body. She’s truly a beautiful person inside and out and I love her just as she is. Tiffany has no desire to become “skinny” and even worried about losing too much weight when the doctors first recommended bariatric surgery to her a few years ago to help alleviate issues with pain in her knees. She used to look at having bariatric surgery as “cheating” or taking the easy way out” but the more research she did, the more she discovered that was truly not the case.

Unfortunately, Tiffany’s insurance does not cover any of the cost of any Bariatric services and she would be responsible for 100% of the cost. She has found a surgical center and a surgeon that she feels comfortable with. She has gone through all the preliminary testing and has completed the steps to get approved for surgery. The only thing holding her back from booking a date for surgery now is not having the money to cover the cost upfront.
