Give Timmy Rivera the Send-Off He Deserves

To our dearest family and friends. It is with great sadness that we share the tragic and sudden passing of our beloved Timothy “Timmy-Bebe” Rivera. We are completely heartbroken as this has been one of the hardest experiences we have faced, and we are struggling to come to terms with losing such a special and deeply loved person. Timmy was such a beautiful person. He was a caring son, brother, nephew, cousin, Tio, father, and friend to many. He brought so much love and joy to others no matter where he went. He had that handsome and radiant smile with a contagious laugh to go with it. There were so many things about him and who he really was that will truly be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Timmy had his struggles, but he worked hard to overcome them. His difficult beginning to his life (being abandoned by his mother at the age of two), left a deep void within him as well as his siblings. His loving and dedicated father, my brother Ricky, along with his grandmother and aunt Debbie (until their passing) and myself each stepped up and raised them all these years and continued to do so until his last day.

We shared a very close bond. I became his “Ma” and he was my son. Timmy was excited for the upcoming months and very much looking forward to getting his first apartment. He loved his job at the New Haven Lawn Club. He had other plans and dreams that he was working towards. We were so proud of him.

As a family, we are overcome with the grief of his unexpected passing, but also are also faced with the financial burden and overwhelming cost of his funeral service. We are hoping with help and support from his loved ones will allow us to give him a beautiful final farewell we know he so deserves.

Anything you can give towards this cause is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. More than anything we ask for your continued prayers for strength during this most difficult and emotional time.
