Asian Business Recovery Fund

Tax deductible
All of us at Asian Economic Development Association (AEDA) have been shocked and heartbroken by another unjustified police killing of an African American man, George Floyd. We stand in support of the protests demanding justice for George Floyd. Our leaders must reform policing that for too long continues to harm communities of color.

In this moment of outrage, we at AEDA want to channel our anger to help with another immediate need -- helping Asian small businesses harmed by the recent unrests. AEDA has created a recovery fund to help these locally owned businesses. In Little Mekong alone (one mile on University Avenue from Marion to Dale) over two dozen businesses were damaged and looted. Some businesses have lost everything.

Your donations will help put these businesses back on their feet. We must do what we can to help them rebuild. They are so important to our neighborhoods all over the Twin Cities.

One hundred percent of the donations we receive from GoFundMe will be granted to businesses with the most need. AEDA will provide additional support to the businesses with technical assistance.

Thank you for your support.

The Asian Economic Development Association (AEDA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are a community economic development organization. We have supported small businesess for more than ten years. Our experience includes providing training, loans, and grants to Asian small businesses.
