Save a poor Christian brother’s home

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ben Hoar. I am raising money to save my friend Samat’s family home in Non Sung, Thailand. He built it with his own hands on family property that he inherited. A bank came to his village and offered a group-home-improvement loan. Samat borrowed one thousand dollars to build the front porch onto his home. Nine other villagers also borrowed the same amount. Samat did not realize that he and another home owner were securing everyone else’s loan. Samat repaid the $1000 that he borrowed and has receipts to prove it. The village representative appointed to handle the money for the community stole all of the money that was paid and didn’t pay the bank. So the bank has foreclosed and will auction Samat’s home away on November 29, 2023. I had my lawyer go over the case and the only recourse is to buy back the home. His home was valued at $10,000. It is a cinder block construction. We already have $1600 towards the purchase. We have known Samat for nearly 10 years. We were Christians serving God and the Thai people in Thailand for 16 years. We lived in Non Sung, a small rice farming village. Samat and his family are Christians. He is a son in the faith. He is pictured in front of his home with Maow his wife and Mot, his son.
