Give to the HOT Dog Park!

HOT Dog Park (4900 Steinbeck Bend Dr) is the largest and best off-leash dog park within a 40-mile radius of Waco. It is a user-funded, volunteer-run park on private property - it is not a city park and we get no government support or assistance. Operations are led by a volunteer Board of Directors.

We are seeking $5,000 to cover the rest of our financial needs for 2023. Our minimum budget is $7,900 per year to meet the park's basic expenses, mostly maintenance and insurance. Thanks to the generous donations we've already received, some large annual expenses coming up soon are already covered.

Giving in 2023 has been about half of what it was in years past, and a lot of our Board's time goes toward asking for donations. Having our financial obligations covered to the end of the year will allow their time to be spent on the more strategically important work of building engagement with the park, stabilizing our operations, coordinating improvements, and establishing a fundraising platform for the future.
