Give Vicki Lind a Loving Cremation

My name is Cynthia Lind Martin and I am seeking to gather funds for a loving Cremation for our eldest Sister, Vicki Lind.

Vicki is the oldest of the five Daughters of Donna Lind. She is the fifth person in our family to succumb to the ravages of ALS. A brutal disease of the nerves, which makes a person a prisoner in their own body.

Our Grandmother, Alice Jensen Larson, was the first to be stricken, in 1962. Then my Mother’s brother, Paul Larson. Then her sister, Doris Larson Long, Then our own Mother, Donna Larson Lind. Now, Vicki suffers this same devastating fate.

Vicki can no longer use her limbs, nor speak, swallow, or do anything for herself, though she still has her mind.

She is in the last stages of this cruel disease, and will soon cross over to God. Where she will be freed of all pain and suffering, and join those of our family who have paved the way before us.

She has had the hardest life of anyone I personally know. Abused as a child, and by one lover after another, she has never really been able to take in and know what it is to be truly loved.

We, as her devastated sisters: Cynthia, Kelly, Suzanne and Nancy, would like to provide her with a Loving and Respectful Cremation. The money will go to Suzanne, who is Vicki's Medical Power of Attorney, and is handling her End of Life details. Vicki's ashes will reside within the family.
