#GIVE35 FOR CBT’S 35TH ANNIVERSARY!
Tax deductible
In its 35 years, Covenant Ballet Theatre of Brooklyn has expertly trained hundreds of students from a wide range of backgrounds who learn how to dance safely and joyfully while acquiring a deep appreciation of the art form. In addition to benefiting from a highly individualized educational experience based on the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum, CBT students perform in original ballet productions conceived and choreographed by Founder and Artistic Director Marla Hirokawa. These performances enhance students’ learning experience while making professional-quality ballet available to the residents of South Brooklyn, where cultural resources are limited. CBT’s reach also extends to thousands of students who benefit from its residency programs in South Brooklyn public and private schools. CBT students gain valuable life lessons from these experiences that lead to successful lives and careers.
“Covenant Ballet changes the lives of everyone it touches. I don’t know where I’d be without it.” - Helene Darmanin, alumna and physical therapist
