Dear Friends of Liberty Christian Schools of Redding, California!
Liberty Christian Schools is at a significant crossroads. This year marked the 50th graduating class since the school’s inception in 1965. Like many non-profit organizations, the need for financial support is huge, and the school cannot continue without our help.
In order to ensure this wonderful ministry is available for its third and fourth generation of students, we as alumni are sounding a clarion call to mobilize an army of supporters from our midst and beyond in the next 70 days!
No doubt many other alumni like me are truly grateful for the education we received at Liberty, but perhaps you have never taken the opportunity to give financially. Some of you may be former faculty and staff, who have made a huge impact on the lives of countless students. Others of you may be associated with the school as friends, parents or even grandparents of students and alumni.
Whatever your connection, consider with me if the school had never existed? Not only would hundreds of students have missed a great Christian education, they would never have known the influence of the specific teachers God placed at Liberty, and probably would not have made some of the lifelong friendships they enjoy to this day.
Much like George Bailey in the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life,” our school is currently in a difficult position, and time is of the essence. Let’s imitate the folks in Bedford Falls and rally around our alma mater. Let’s let Liberty know in a big way that her friends are many and her future is secure.
