Giving Andrew Arn a Beautiful Goodbye
Donation protected
Hey everybody!
I'm writing this with the heaviest of hearts, attempt to reach friends and family of Andrew Arn, with the intent of giving him the best send off we can.
Those of you who have been around for a while know my Papa Bear was one of my favorite people on this planet. The silly, goofy, wise-cracking intellectual that he was. He taught me so many useful skills. He always had an answer for every question any one would ask him, and he always had time to help other (even if it was at the expense of his own sanity or well-being.) He was a great man.
Almost 10 years ago, my dad had a massive stroke and brain aneurysm. In those 10 years, this man went through hell and back, and he just kept fighting. (He always was a stubborn man.) Just to name a few things he overcame in those 10, long years, he endured a brain bleed, a 3 month long coma, a ventilator to breathe for him when he couldn't do it on his own, blood transfusions (yes, plural), many rounds of kidney dialysis, so many various surgeries that I can't count them, relearning how to do thing we take for granted from simply swallowing food, to walking. This man was a FIGHTER!! And because of that fighting spirit, we were blessed with 10 more beautiful years together.
Unfortunately, my dad got tired of fighting and peacefully passed away on December 21, 2024, while listening to black sabbath, surrounded by loved ones. I know I already said this, but my Papa Bear was a great man and he deserves a great send off.
We're raising funds to cover the cost of his cremation and wake, in an attempt to give him that great send off he deserves. Any donation is appreciated more than my family and I could ever say. Thank you in advance.
