Giving Back to Andrew Jimenez in a Time of Need

Donation protected
Anyone who is fortunate enough to know Andrew Jimenez, knows they have a friend who would give the shirt off his back without telling them it was the last he owned. He is kind, thoughtful, humble, loyal, and gives back to this community more than he would ever acknowledge or announce. He has a true heart of gold and offers a warm smile even when his world is falling apart.

On September 08, 2023, Andrew's mom was given the grim prognosis of potentially only "100 days" left to spend with her loving boys- gut wrenching news after she was just told she had Metastatic Breast Cancer earlier that week. Unfortunately, her time left with her boys was much shorter than expected and Kathleen grew her wings today.

ANDREW NEEDS OUR HELP not only now, but going forward for his future. He is going to have a lot of decisions to make as a 19 year old who has recently lost both parents. WE NEED TO SHOW HIM HE IS NOT ALONE. I know we all support him for the exceptional young man his is. He is a full time student (did I mention SGA President?), will have have cost of living expenses, the family dogs to support, and many more expenses that no 19 year old should have to face alone, especially while also trying to navigate the heartache of losing a parent. He has given so much to this community: Habit for Humanity Volunteer, active with C-Step, Circle K, the Creative Writing Club, Latin X, the Lacrosse Club, he initiated and created the student section at SCC basketball games, assisted with the Mental Health Club, and so much more. It's our turn to help him and show him we appreciate him and support him.

If you cannot donate monetarily, gift cards for groceries, gas, supplies, DoorDash, restaurants, etc. would all be helpful and I would be happy to pick up or you can drop off. He is lactose intolerant so dairy does need to be avoided. Refrigerator space is limited so staple items, house items, protein bars, etc. are all welcomed ideas. Please reach out if there are any questions.
