Giving Back to Dana McKay

Friends and Family,

We wanted to provide an update on Dana Mckay’s medical journey. Due to overwhelming support, she was able to pay for her dental procedure. She has been healing and waiting for the final phase this August/September, when she will receive her permanent dentures. This last phase will cost roughly $5,000. Because Dana lives on a limited income, we are asking for additional support to help her cover this expense. Dana is grateful for her community of friends and family! To know Dana McKay is to know kindness. Countless people have been recipients of her care and compassion over the years. Dana served in ministry with her husband, John McKay, for over twenty years, ministering to students and college students. Many of us received rides, cards in the mail, CD's, and trips to conferences and camps which were "paid for by someone." If you were a guest in their home, then you were probably fed her famous beef tips and rice or gumbo. John and Dana made it their mission to take care of people. These two people selflessly gave of themselves for decades, and now it's our turn to give back.
