Giving Back to Gary Farrow

Hi, I’m Megan and I’ve been a big fan of Gary Farrow long before I married his nephew, Angelo Farrow. I often joke that I married Angelo just so I can say Gary is part of my family. Gary’s kindness and generosity have always inspired me, and I’m honored to have him as part of my family.

Gary is truly one of the most selfless people I have ever met. Over the years, I have watched him go out of his way to help others with no expectation of payment or reward. No job has ever been too big for Gary. Whether he cleared your driveway, baled hay, ran a backhoe, split wood for your fireplace, hauled away junk, or helped in countless other ways, Gary has always been there. Not too long ago, Gary was in an accident while helping an individual whose steer had escaped. In the process, Gary was attacked and suffered numerous injuries, requiring treatment in Rochester. Because Gary's work is so physical, he was out of work for an extended period and still suffers from lingering pain that makes it hard for him to put in long days at his job.

I am asking those of you who know Gary and have benefited from his help to donate to this GoFundMe to give him some breathing room. I want to clarify that Gary did not consent to this fundraiser—he will probably have a few words with me—but I want to give everyone an opportunity to give back to Gary as he has given to all of us over the years. Gary is always the first to say, "No, that's okay, you don't need to pay me," so here is your chance to give to Gary during a time when he could really use it.

For many, Gary has always been the go-to guy when someone needed help; now it's our turn to return the favor.
