Giving Back to Santa

In 2017, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After two years of trying to heal myself holistically, I finally made it to Hope4Cancer in Cancun, Mexico where I had wanted to go from Day 1 after my diagnosis in 2017, but could not afford to. I finally ended up going there in July of 2019 and in 21 days, was totally healed of cancer. Two years later, this month, I continue to celebrate being Cancer Free !

 

Had it not been for this site and the generosity of people from all over the Country who donated both through this site and directly to me, I would have never been able to heal completely and now live the healthiest life I’ve ever lived since I was a child. Hope4Cancer TRULY changed my life and I will forever be grateful to the amazing, loving, caring, compassionate, professional and efficient staff at their facilities in both Cancun and Tiajuana, Mexico.

 

When I became cancer free, I thought my journey with cancer was over. I was wrong. Two months ago, my ex husband, Mike Jannicelli, was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. His father Frank Jannicelli, died of the same disease in 2009.

 

In wanting to have “this” cancer treated the same way I did, I wanted him to go to Hope4Cancer as well to give him the best possible chance. Trouble is, once again, money was a factor in him getting there just like it was for me initially.

With him being retired from the Air Force and on Disability, he just doesn’t have the means to do this right now. Luckily, the cancer is Stage 1 but naturally, he wants to get a head start on it to get rid of it ASAP.

 

So now, I am reaching out to you to see if you can help make this treatment for him happen. He is always volunteering for different charities, has been a professional “Santa Claus” for the past 10 years and loves to make children smile and served in the military helping to protect our country for 20 years.

He’s always ready to help a friend (or stranger) in need and has been very active in the Children’s Ministry at Hope Community Church in Raleigh, North Carolina for many years.
