Giving back to the Grants

Many of you know Brandon Grant was diagnosed with MS about 10 years ago after showing inconclusive symptoms for several years prior. Brandon was eventually diagnosed with primary progressive MS. Patients with PPMS commonly see their symptoms progress through time, as in Brandon’s case.
So many have had the privilege of knowing and loving Brandon’s mother, Kathy, more fondly known as Senora Grant. Kathy has dedicated much of her life caring for countless children in Kansas and Oklahoma as a beloved educator. (The best of the best if you ask me!)
Kathy and husband, Rocky, have loved and cared for Brandon daily as he needs continued to grow. Brandon’s two brothers, Brian and Chris, have also shown their love for their brother.
Brandon has recently been placed in The Commons in Enid, OK, so that Rocky could receive surgeries himself. However, Kathy was diagnosed this week with High Grade Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer.
The reality of Kathy’s diagnosis and Brandon’s condition will likely mean Brandon will stay in The Commons for the foreseeable future.
Every day spent is $275 and unfortunately, insurance does not cover.
To say this family has been through a lot is an understatement.
The Grant family has never asked and always gave, but now it is our turn to return the favor.
I have seen firsthand the love and impact this family made in so many communities in Kansas and Oklahoma and I believe fully God will deliver them through this trying time.
Donations can also be made directly to The Commons to help in the cost of Brandon’s care.
Cards and visits to The Commons from family friends would also make a world of difference.
More than anything we ask for prayers of miraculous healing, love, and comfort for the Grants.
