Donna's Cancer Treatment Fund

This is a plea for help with medical expenses in a fight with an aggressive form of breast cancer.

My name is Donna and I am a young(ish) woman with an amazing husband who is supporting and helping me as we deal with the big C. I've already been started on medication therapy to slow it's progress, and we don't know yet if it is helping. In a few weeks I will be having a mastectomy to remove my left breast and a lymph node, plus any other suspicious areas discovered during surgery, which will be followed by radiation, chemotherapy, and eventually physical therapy.

I'm reaching out to you for help, as I will be unable to work for several weeks (I'm a USPS Mail Carrier in Nashville, Tennessee), and then I'll be on light duty for a few more. As the primary breadwinner, that hits us hard in the pockets, as bills just don't stop when you have trouble paying them.

All of this is painful and frightening, and the prognosis is not that great at the moment. The medicines I'm on now are causing severe joint and body pain, and worsening some of my other health issues. This is also bringing me down mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Right now I've only been given the projected total cost of the medication therapy, so that's what I'm asking for help with. Any help is greatly appreciated, so please pass this on even if you can't help yourself.
