Giving for Gabe
On Tuesday September 12, Gabe's mom took him to the Emergency Room - they were thinking maybe mono, meningitis... they weren't prepared to hear the word Cancer.
Gabe was transfered to Primary Children's Hospital and was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma, an aggressive and quick-generating form of cancer. With this diagnosis comes a 1 month stay in the hospital and 2 years of Chemotherapy.
Gabe is a quiet, yet hilarious 14 year old and under his calm and cool demeanor lies a strength few of us have. He's going to beat this. As his family, we are devastated by this news but determined to see him all the way to the finish line. He's a fighter and we will fight right along his side.
As I am sure you can imagine, with such horrific news comes the reality of the financial burden that only those with long-term and/or extreme illness can comprehend. We understand that there are so many needs in our world right now and that many of you have already shared so much with those in need... but we are asking that you make one more donation today to help this family of 7 manage the hardship of medical bills, missed work, and ongoing medication for our amazing Gabe.
Every penny helps.
Our sincerest "Thank You" in advance for your help today.
