Giving for Given Grace
Donation protected
On Thursday 1/30 baby Given Grace was brought into the world by emergency c-section. Her due date was 3/31/2020. At almost 8 weeks early she is now in the care of some amazing doctors and nurses at Vanderbilt NICU until she is strong enough to go home. Given is thriving and is quite the fighter despite her chaotic and scary entrance to the world. She is weighing in at almost 4 pounds and is expected to be just fine!
All while Given is being cared for, Vanessa (momma) fought hard for her life. After her emergency c-section, losing 9 liters of blood and having not 1 but 2 major surgeries to repair some internal organs; she has spent the last 6 days in the ICU at Vanderbilt. Finally being moved to the labor and delivery level on 2/4/2020 to be closer to her daughter, she is healing and thankful to be alive but has a long, long way to go.
Vanessa's baby shower was 1/26 just days before Given made her early debut and while some planning has gone into this process she and her family are not quite prepared. We are hoping to be able to raise funds, not only for Given's NICU stay but as a Realtor, Vanessa relies on being in the field and showing homes to clients to generate most of her income so we would love to be able to give this family a little cushion while Vanessa is healing for the next 3 months.
There are also some items that are still needed for baby Given:
Stroller
Car Seat
Diapers (pampers sensitive)
Aquafor, baby soap, baby lotion
Bibs
Swing
Swaddles
Receiving blankets
Gripe water, baby tylenol, thermometer
Stage 1 nipples for bottles
If you feel compelled to donate or purchase items instead, please let me know and I can give you the location to have these items delivered! You can also access her registry here:

We will be so very grateful for any help we can provide to Vanessa and Given during this time. If nothing else, please continue to pray for them and/or send positive thoughts of love and healing their way for a speedy recovery!
A meal train will also be set up in the coming weeks when Vanessa is home :) Thank you!
