Giving to the Gleason Family

On the morning of Saturday, January 7th, Jeremy and Kelsey (Evershed) Gleason awoke to every parent's worst nightmare. Their baby boy, Jett, had passed away, peacefully, through the night.

The couple has been inundated with requests about how they can be helped. While there's nothing anyone can do to bring their baby boy back, there is a long road ahead.

Pyper, their 3-year-old little girl, has been invited to attend her preschool, Apple Seeds, on a more frequent basis. Preschool is the only constant left in their little girl's life, for now. Jeremy and Kelsey are so grateful for the relationships that she has developed with staff and her peers over the last few months and think that this is an excellent opportunity for her.

They have temporarily relocated to Jeremy's parents' home, but are looking to purchase a new home to settle their family into and establish a new "normal."

As you are all aware, moving, and increased frequency of child care, both carry expenses.

There are going to be several other expenses that arise as the family addresses this senseless tragedy in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Alleviating the financial pressure that Jeremy and Kelsey will be facing is one way for others to offer their support.

Please understand that this is not a plea from the family for financial assistance. It is simply an avenue for those who feel the need to offer tangible support to Jeremy, Kelsey, and Pyper, to do so. The family is forever grateful for the ongoing support from the community, their family, and their friends.
