Dresden Baseball Association
The Dresden Baseball Association (DBA) provides a high-quality youth baseball experience for boys and girls between the ages of 9-15 and, each year, relies on the generosity of past and present families and local businesses to offset the costs of running the league.
This year, despite the delay related to the pandemic, DBA provided a total of 98 games (and close to 250 practices) across all levels to over 100 unique participants.
As we begin planning for 2021 - whatever it may look like - we hope you will consider a gift to support youth baseball in Hanover. Our registration fees do not cover the entirety of the league's expenses; instead, we relay on generosity to keep registration fees manageable and the experience accessible for all who wish to play.
From COVID-safety supplies, to equipment, to uniforms, to field maintenance (which we do on our own, at our own expense), to field rental fees levied by Hanover Parks and Recreation, the costs of running our league are not insignifcant and we work hard as a volunteer board to be good stewards of the resources we are provided and invest ALL of it into the children of Hanover and surrounding towns.
We have set a goal of $5000 this year, knowing that it has been a challenging year for local businesses and they may not be in as strong a position to support the league as deeply as they have in the past.
Please consider a gift to support DBA. Over the past year, we've all learned just how meaningful youth sports are and how important these interactions are to the mental and physical well being of those involved.
Thank you!
