Help Gizmo get his back surgery❤️

On Wednesday May 31st my Bestfriend and little furry munchkin was trying to jump onto his bench to get ready to go outside. He fell and hit the concrete floor and immediately started crying and hollering in pain. He tried to get up and walk it off but his hind legs wouldn’t move. I received the call about the incident while I was at work and immediately rushed home and rushed him to the vets office. My heart sank when the veterinarian told me my little boy had a prolapsed vertebral disk pushing on his spinal cord causing him pain and paralysis. Gizmo spent 48 hours at the vets for observation as they weren’t comfortable sending him home after 24hours of treatment. while checking in the vet informed me that although Gizzy has shown improvement his best chance at having a good outcome over no longer having any pain/discomfort or future paralysis and the potential of permanent spinal cord damage is having a procedure done on his back. As most of you know that can be very costly and I sadly do not make the kind of money it requires to pay for not only his vet cost but his procedure. I am asking anyone and everyone to help me in any way they can. I just want to take away my little Gizmos pain and give him back his quality of life and independence. So I’ve created a GoFund Me to help raise money for his surgery. His procedure will cost between $5,000-$8,000 plus added vet fees. So any and all donations are appreciated. -A little about Gizmo

Gizmo is a 2 yearold Pomeranian. I got him was he was just a little under 9 weeks old. He was even fully weened off of milk yet. I had to feed him formula for the first couple of weeks I had him. When he was a baby he was small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. I never initially planned on purchasing Gizzy but the day I went to see him it was an instant connection for not just me but him too. He has been glued to my side since the day I first placed my hands on him. Gizmo is the most spontaneous, spunky little pup. He loves to give kisses and he will quite literally kiss you to death. He has major zoom jes. Especially after bath time. He just starts running around like he drank 6 energy drinks. He loves playing fetch and bringing the toy back to you only to sike you out and run away with it. One his favorite things to do is go on car rides and hang his head out the window like most dogs do. When he gets bored of that he likes to climb up onto my shoulders and casually lay behind my neck and watch out the window. Gizmos two favorite places to be is outside and in my arms. Another fun fact about Gizzy is that he’s super picky when it comes to his food. I started supplement feeding a few months ago and now when I only give him dry kibble he looks at me like I’m nuts. And even prior to that he was very picky about what dry kibble I got him. He is the kind of dog that knows exactly what he wants when he wants it. He also loves clothes. Hates shoes and socks and hats, but loves bandanas, sweaters, shirts.. which is very surprising considering he’s a long hair dog and gets hot easily. But he actually gets mad at me and throws a fit when I take his clothes off to wash them. Gizmo is so extremely playful and loving. He is quite honestly the sweetest pup and I love him to the moon and back. ❤️
