Welcome to Team Tracy! As some of you may or may not know, Tracy has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia or A.L.L. Also referred to as Lymphoblastic. In addition to the A.L.L., Tracy also has a gene mutation of the 9th & 22nd chromosone otherwise know as the Philadelphia Chromosone.
As her brother, I feel helpless but couldn't sit by and watch my lil' sister fight this battle by herself. I have set this page up on behalf of all the family and friends that are in this battle with her for the long haul.
Tracy will be in the hospital for another couple of weeks undergoing treatment by way of IV steroids and chemo in the form of a pill to attack the Philidelphia Chromosome. Once we beat that, she will need a stem cell transplant. This is good and bad. The good is that the treatments have successfully attacked the Philadelphia Chromosome and defeated it, the bad means that Tracy will need to spend up to a month in the hospital while she has her transplant.
The money that we will raise through this site will go directly to Tracy and Allie to offset the mounting medical bills and, "keep the lights on" in their everyday life.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who takes the time to read this and donate. Remember, every little bit helps. We all think it will never happen to you or someone you love, but let me tell you, it does!
