Help College Art Students get to New Mexico

Hello! My name is Matt DeFord. I am an art professor at Northwestern State University. We are situated in a rural area with students that have had little exposure outside of their communities or the state of Louisiana. This trip has been going on for 13 years with an interruption the two years of the pandemic. This trip gives our students the opportunity to view art, meet artists and wander around the inspiring Land of Enchantment. These students come from diverse backgrounds and economic circumstances. Please help them broaden their horizons and truly augment their education!

The amount requested will help fund transportation, room and board while we are there. We usually stay in a bed and breakfast all together, caravan there and back and eat out once a day. The trip is usually 10-12 days in length so we can see museums, galleries, mountains, and MeowWolf!
