Earthquake victims in Morocco

Hi, my name is Najat and I'm a PhD student at UB Graduate School of Education.

On September 7, I flew back to my home country, Morocco, for my mother's funeral.

A devastating earthquake hit us the next day. Hundreds of thousands of Moroccans in the Atlas Mountains have been directly affected by the earthquake: 3000 passed away, 5000 were injured and 300 000 people lost their homes.

In a couple of weeks, it will start snowing in that region. In honor of my mother, I'm collecting winter clothes to send back home. Physical donations can be deposited in Baldy Hall 565.

Any monetary donation will be used to cover transportation fees and buy extra clothes.
