Help Ibrahim’s Family From Gaza Rebuild Their Lives

Donation protected
I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Ibrahim, I am 16 years old, and I suffer from Down syndrome, which has profoundly affected my life from the moment I was born. However, what has supported me is the unwavering care and dedication of my family and relatives, who do everything they can to ensure my well-being and happiness.

Fortunately, my family lived in the city of Al-Zahra. For those who are unfamiliar, Al-Zahra is a beautiful city, considered one of the most stunning in the Gaza Strip, built with modern standards. This encouraged my parents to build a large, beautiful home with a lush green garden full of thriving trees, including date palms, citrus fruits, guavas, and more.

But since the onset of this devastating and irrational war, our lives have drastically changed. We lost our once-wonderful life filled with love and security, and the sense of safety vanished as fear, terror, and death became our constant companions amid relentless bombardments.

My family and I have lived in a state of perpetual fear and uncertainty. The war has destroyed our lives, deprived us of our means of livelihood, and turned our home into a desolate place. Our three-story house was directly targeted and completely demolished, leaving it uninhabitable. Our lives have been transformed from a comfortable and peaceful existence to one of fear, hardship, and struggle, as we fight to meet even the most basic needs: water, food, and shelter, even if rudimentary.

Facing relentless attacks from land, sea, and air, we had no choice but to leave our beautiful city. Although this decision was incredibly difficult, as it meant leaving behind the place we had always called home and bidding farewell to beloved people, it was driven by our family’s strong desire to protect us from a life filled with fear, death, and destruction. Especially after Israeli forces destroyed my city, leveling nearly 30 residential towers in one night, from 9 PM to 9 AM the next day, which housed hundreds of apartments and thousands of innocent families. It was a hellish night that I can never forget; the sounds of missiles still echo in my sleep, causing me to wake up terrified and seek refuge in my parents' embrace. The terrifying, thunderous noise seems to haunt me incessantly.

We are not only suffering from material deprivation but also from the psychological and emotional scars of living in a war zone that has obliterated everything. There is no home, no education, no healthcare, no electricity, no water, and no cooking gas. The most devastating thing is the absence of hope for the future.

I miss my previous life deeply—my home, my friends, my toys, and my beautiful clothes. I miss my school, my teachers, and friends whose whereabouts I am now unaware of.

I know you are a wonderful person who would not wish such suffering and despair on anyone. I am sure you look at your spouse, siblings, or children and fear for their safety, just as we do. We support you with our love and prayers, hoping that God keeps you safe. Yet, we look forward to your support to help us live. Do you believe that your contribution, no matter how small, could lead us to a safer and brighter life? By supporting this campaign, you are not just helping one family; you are advocating for peace, dignity, and the right to live without fear.

We are immensely grateful for your time in reading our story. Your generosity, kindness, and compassion have a profound impact on us. With your help, we can move beyond the darkness of war and toward a future filled with hope and light.

By participating, sharing our story, and donating to our campaign—and encouraging your friends to do the same—you are not only helping us survive but also giving us the chance to thrive in a safe environment, attend school, and build a future free from the horrors of war.

Even a small donation could help us rebuild our destroyed home and revive our dreams. And don’t forget that you would also be helping my beloved brother, Abdul Rahman, continue his university studies and achieve his dream of studying medicine.

Will you help me achieve this beautiful dream?

Don’t forget—I am awaiting your support and contribution.

May God bless you.
