A Helping Hand

My dear friend Deandra has been living with cancer for 7 years. After taking time off work for her first round of chemotherapy and surgeries, she was able to secure remote work and has worked for several years through multiple additional surgeries, rounds of radiation, and cryotherapy treatments.

This week she has been medically restricted from working for the foreseeable future, as even the requirements of sedentary work have become quite painful. This was unexpected, and the family did not have time to plan to be short an entire month's salary while waiting 6 weeks for the short-term disability application to be processed.

I have created this Go Fund Me with the hope that we can lend her and her family a helping hand with 2 months of rent and utilities to get them through this most recent hurdle on what has been a very long and difficult road to travel.
