Glen and Bev are moving!

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family of Bev and Glen Stewart,

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying this beautiful fall weather!

You may or may not know that Bev and Glen are needing to leave their beloved apartment at the Dorchester and move into a more suitable retirement home setting. They are both needing more support these days than the family can give them alone, and it seems to be the best for everyone.

Bev and Glen are moving to their new place of residence at the beginning of October. The cost for them to hire movers, versus moving themselves is $800. That cost, along with covering some of the cost of Glen’s new motorized wheelchair (very exciting!!) is proving to be a lot. They’ve also been pricing out the cost of a portable ramp so that Glen will still be able to visit Hollie and Ian’s house.

It occurred to me that perhaps, we, as their extended ‘family of families, singers and actors’ could help by each chipping in a little, just to get them past these extra costs. I asked Hollie if it was okay if I sent an email, just throwing the idea out there, and of course, she cried. Then Julie, who was visiting at the time, cried. Then I cried.
I took that as a yes, so I am moving forward.

I started to collect the names of folks who I thought might want to help them out, and it occurred to me that a GO FUND ME page might be more efficient.
So, here we are!

I’m not going to suggest an amount for people to chip in because I don’t want anyone to feel pressure. I just wanted to send the information along, put the idea out there and leave it at that.

To send a small donation to the
‘BEV AND GLEN are moving/fancy-new-purple-electric-wheelchair/ramp-to-get-into-Hollie-and-Ian's-house-to-drink-Scotch FUND’ please follow the steps on this page.

Also, please feel free to pass this link along to anyone whom you think might want to contribute! Every little bit helps!

Thank you so much. I know, that you know, how much the entire family will be grateful.
Take care everyone and hopefully, we will meet again soon!
Much love,
-Susie Jenkins
