A senseless random act of violence has changed Glenn's life forever.
On the night of February 4th Glenn had just parked his semi truck in a vacant roadside lot in Mayerthorpe, Alberta and was preparing to head home after another long day on the road. As he sat in his truck diligently filling out his log book three gunshots fired from a nearby vehicle pierced through his windshield and door and lodged in his chest and arm. The unknown shooter fled and Glenn managed to call 911 himself.
He is in serious but stable condition and his loving family, friends, and long time coworkers are rallying around him. Glenn is a kind, gentle, and hardworking man. He is a husband, a father, and grandfather. How could something like this happen to a person like Glenn?
This random act of gun violence acted out on a veteran Alberta trucker has left our community in shock.
Please help us support Glenn and his family by contributing to his expenses as he battles to recover his health and cope with the trauma of this very terrifying and tragic event.
