Glen Farraye Cancer Support Fund

Glen Farraye, our amazing father, was diagnosed with cancer (lymphoma) in December 2019. The news came as a complete surprise as he was not displaying any signs or symptoms of contracting the disease. Cancer is not hereditary in the Farraye family and Glen leads an active and healthy lifestyle. The news truly shocked us to the core.
While doctors were initially optimistic that our Dad would ultimately be cured, an updated test in January 2020 revealed that the cancer had become more aggressive than originally diagnosed. This finding requires a much more aggressive treatment plan that he is currently undergoing, including lengthy in-hospital stays for chemotherapy. He has a long journey ahead and we plan to be by his side every step of the way.
In addition to Glen's medical hardships, Glen has been unemployed over two years after falling victim to his company closure in 2017.
Our Dad planned well for this stage of his life. He never fathomed the health and wealth burdens over the last two years would elevate to near insurmountable. Effectively, all the planning has been shattered.
We, the children, take on this GoFundMe with hopes to raise help for our parents. It is with sincere humility that we ask for your financial support at this time. We humbly accept any and all you can provide. Being the humble man our Dad is, he may not agree, considering he instilled in us "True humility is not thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less."
We as a family live by the motto, "We Fight". In both his professional and medical situations, Glen will never stop fighting. We are forever grateful for the outpouring of love, compassion and prayers received thus far, as we know our Dad is. He would always tell us, "It's not what you have in your life, it's who you have in your life."
Thank you for being special to our Dad and our family. May God bless you all!
