Glen Mhor Distillery Collection
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jason and I’ve been working on this Glen Mhor research project for several years.
Recently, I was presented with an incredible opportunity to acquire a remarkable collection of historically significant Glen Mhor documents. This collection is truly invaluable as it comprises 22 documents dating back to the early days of the distillery. Among these documents, we can find a diverse range of items, including invoices, receipts, and insurance documents.
Motivated by my deep passion for Glen Mhor and its rich history, I have embarked on a dedicated research project with the sole intention of reviving the visibility of this remarkable distillery. By acquiring this collection and making it accessible to everyone, regardless of their geographical location, we can ensure that the invaluable information contained within these documents is not lost.
Recognising the significance of this endeavor, I have carefully considered the best approach to fund this acquisition. Asking the community to support this cause was not a decision I took lightly, but it is undoubtedly the right option. Without our intervention, this precious collection will be dispersed and sold piece by piece at auction. As a consequence, it is highly likely that the valuable insights it offers will be forever hidden from public view and lost to time.
Therefore, I appeal to all those who share a love for Glen Mhor, its heritage, and its stories, to join me in preserving this irreplaceable collection. By contributing to this acquisition, we can safeguard these historical documents and ensure that their knowledge is accessible for generations to come.
Together, let us embrace this unique opportunity to preserve the legacy of Glen Mhor, enabling enthusiasts from all corners of the globe to delve into its fascinating narrative.
If successful, every document will be warmly embraced by the Glen Mhor project and comprehensively documented. As supporters, your valuable contribution will earn my personal gratitude, both in person and online. Additionally, we may even have the opportunity to share a dram together someday, as the documents find a place of pride in future tastings or presentations, where they will be open for everyone to admire.
