Funeral Expenses for Glenda Graham

Donation protected
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED TO GLENDA'S FUNERAL EXPENSES. WITH OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS MADE DIRECTLY TO THE FUNERAL HOME AND MONEY GIVEN DIRECTLY TO US, WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL! YOUR GENEROSITY HAS PAID FOR ALL OF THE FUNERAL EXPENSES PLUS SOME LEFT OVER TO COVER THE COST OF THE HEADSTONE. BARBARA HAS BEEN SPEECHLESS WITH ALL OF THE OUTPOURING OF LOVE SHE HAS RECEIVED. PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW!

*Update* Glenda passed away the morning of November 30th, and is now with God, her Heavenly Father.

Barbara and Glenda Graham are two very special people. Glenda is 52 and has Down Syndrome. She has been on hospice care since November 3, 2023, due to her declining health. On October 13, 2023, she had a grand mal seizure and has not been able to walk since then. I am sharing this with you because Glenda is now in her final days on this earth and Barbara has no way of paying for Glenda’s funeral expenses.

Barbara has been a single mom since Glenda was 3 years old. Taking care of Glenda became her full-time job. Barbara did some work in years past to support them as best that she could, cleaning houses or doing odd jobs for people. Barbara is very frugal with their money and always pays her bills first before spending her money on anything else.

If you have ever been to the Wal Mart in Hope, AR you may have gotten a hug from Glenda. She loves hugs! She also would tell people that she was praying for them and that she loved them. One of the things she would say, before her communication became more limited was, “I want to tell you something. I am a Christian. Me and God, we connect.” As she was saying this, she would tap her chest and then point up to the sky.

The funeral home has given us a price for Glenda’s funeral: $10,000

If 500 people gave just $20 that would cover all of their costs. God’s heart is with widows and the fatherless. Let’s show God’s heart to Barbara. If you are able to, please give so that Glenda’s passing can be more of a celebration of her life than a burden to Barbara.
