Glenn Timmons

My name is JoAnn Timmons, and I thank you for taking the time to read my story. My husband Glenn and I were High School sweethearts, and have been married 49 years. In 2021, our battle against cancer began. At that time I was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma. Then, in August 2022, Glenn was diagnosed with cancer of the tongue. He had surgery to remove a large tumor and Doctors were hopeful. Unfortunately, the cancer came back aggressively, and although Glenn continued to fight he received the news that he was terminal. The last several months he was unable to eat, and could only nourish via a feeding tube. As Glenn’s primary caregiver, I was unable to work. It is very difficult to ask for help, but our bills are mounting and I am now alone, as my love was granted his angel wings this morning. I am blessed to have shared life with my best friend and soul mate. God gave us four sons and the means to support them. We never had extra, but always enough.
