Glen’s Stem Cell Transplant

This fundraiser is to assist with the upcoming medical, travel, lodging and daily expenses for our dad’s hospital stay.

A few months ago our dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow. It was detected on abnormal labs during his routine yearly exam. We are so thankful for his doctor catching it early, as he is in an early stage with no current bone damage. Multiple myeloma is known for the damage it causes to bones, immune systems, kidneys and red cells.

His immunotherapy treatment started November 15th, and if everything continues as planned, his next step is a stem cell transplant at Roswell Park in Buffalo. The transplant is estimated to be a 3 week hospitalization with a 30 day stay in Buffalo to be near his specialist post-transplant. The goal is for remission with maintenance medication.
