"Glitter Baby" Performance in the Philly Fringe

This September "Glitter Baby" will be performing in the Cannonball Festival as a part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. As an independent dance artist, I invite you to help me raise money for dancer fees and space rental fees. I strive to compensate my collaborators with respectable fees, but I can not do this without your support!

"Glitter Baby" began as an abstract dance collage dedicated to the delightful non-sequitors of my daughter's way of making sense of the world, which then became a deeper exploration of the triumphs and losses associated with motherhood, embodiments of queer parenting, and a play with how abstract dance collides with narrative and spoken story-telling.

This work premiered as an abbreviated iteration at Bryn Mawr College's dance concert, where Philadelphia professional dancers worked with Bryn Mawr dance students. Now, we are premiering the full iteration of the work at the Philly Fringe 2023!
