Gloria D Hoover Memorial

In 2014, Gloria was diagnosed with breast cancer. In about 2017 she learned that it had metastasized to her bones.

On May 22nd, 2021, Gloria had found out that it was now in her brain and that she’d have months to live. Unfortunately it was an extremely aggressive cancer and took her on June 18th, 2021.

Gloria was a loving, caring person, wife, mother and recently grandmother.

Gloria was a nurse for over 40 years. She was a travel nurse in her 20’s and got to see the world traveling to many different countries. After getting married and having her first child, she and her husband settled in Dunedin FL. She then continued her nursing career at Mease Dunedin. She absolutely loved helping people when they were at their worst. She would not have had it any other way.

Gloria had 3 children. Chelsea born in 1993, Jordan born in 1997 and in 2011 adopted William. She loved all her children very much!

In recent years while battling cancer, she and her husband Bruce bought a RV and started traveling the states. Gloria loved traveling, she loved making memories and seeing new places.

In February of 2021, Gloria got to meet her first and grandchild Christopher. She absolutely adored him and got to send her last months surrounded by her husband, children and grandchild.

We (her children) have created this go fund me so that father doesn’t have to worry about the financial costs from medical bills and a memorial service for our mother.
