Gloria Jean Dixon

Hey family and friends, My name is Tykiara Dixon and I’m creating this account on behalf of my Granny Gloria Jean Dixon. My Granny is one of the sweetest best cooking women around. She’s been battling cancer since 2015. She was originally diagnosed with colon cancer, when it was found it was already at stage 4, and had already spread to her liver. While taking chemo for a while the doctors told her she only had 6 months to live and by the grace of God we’ve been able to spend many years with her since then and God has kept her. God even kept her hair until just last year, and it’s already growing back. We come just to ask if it’s in your heart to give, please just give anything it’s been really hard for her surviving not being able to work, wishing to work. My Granny worked until she couldn’t no more. After working for Walmart for 20+ years, she was later terminated from her job during the pandemic while being on medical leave, causing her to lose her health insurance. The termination came about because she couldn’t go in after a certain amount of time being on medical leave due to excruciating pain. Times are hard for all of us and it’s hard but we do what we can for her. Her only income is disability, and we all know that small check once a month is hard to survive on. Sometimes she’s not able to get her medication that she needs and other times some bills may not get paid. It’s just so hurtful to see her so sad and hurt because she’s helped many and no one will hardly ever help her when she asks. Ye have not, because ye ask not. (James 4:2) Now we are asking outside of the family. She still takes chemo every week and she cannot work. This was actually her last option, anything will help, thanks in advance and I pray that the Lord give it back 100 fold.
