Begin my Grandfather's Bucket List

In 2003 my mother was severely brain injured by a motorcycle accident and my Grandparents put aside their life to take on three adolescent teenagers ages 11 and 12. At the time my grandfather was going through chemotherapy for esophageal cancer. In order to facilitate our mom and my two brothers and I, they doubled the size of their home along with their mortgage. From 2003 on my grandparents raised three dysfunctional adolescent children along with finding care and taking care of our mother. Over and over my grandparents have put off retirement, dreams, wants, and freedom to help my family succeed. My brothers and I would not be able to have the lives we have now without the sacrifices that they made. Before my grandparents took custody of us we were constantly on the move and in and out of situations that would have hindered our futures. In the 14 years my grandparents have raised us I didn’t really see or know all they did for us until a couple years ago. My grandfather was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last June of 2014 and as of this summer my grandparents are going into retirement. A couple weeks ago my grandfather started writing his bucket list and my grandparents expressed the futures that they dream of and wish for. At this point I cannot, on my own, give them the futures that they deserve and that they dreamed of. I know that I cannot give them the world but I would love to help my Grandparents start retirement off with an awesome trip! This would also help my grandfather check off some of his bucket list! Anything would help and 100% of this will go towards a dream of my grandparents.  Thank you so much for reading and for being a part of a bucket list of a man that has given me my world and helped made all of my dreams possible!
