GMLD’s XL BULLY NEUTERING & SPAYING FUNDRAISER
Donation protected
We, at Greater Manchester Lost Dogs Search & Rescue Capture Team C.I.C, like many other animal organisations and XL Bully owners across the UK, are really struggling to come to terms with the devastating new government legislation being brought into effect on December 31st.
We find it utterly devastating, absurd & unjust to our canine friends and their families. It has left so many of us fellow dog lovers feeling completely helpless, powerless and heartbroken, knowing that so many innocent dogs are going to lose their lives unnecessarily at the hands of poor human judgment and miscalculation.
Since the very day of the announcement, as a team, we have been trying to think of a way we can possibly help to save as many of these precious lives as possible.
Therefore we have decided that we would like to launch a fundraiser in order to financially help some of the XL Bully owners, whom will genuinely struggle to afford their XL Bully's neutering/spaying.
The more funds we raise……..the more lives will be saved from the hands of our government. Funds raised will be carefully allocated to owners who can prove that they don't have, and can't access, the money to pay for this urgent and desperate preventive measure for their beloved family member. This won't be exclusive to people on benefits as most should be able to get help from the PDSA and RSPCA.
The money for each dog will be paid directly to the vets on the day of the surgery. We urgently want to help to stop as many XL Bullies losing their lives as we possibly can, and unfortunately we don’t have much time on our side!!!!
We aim to support and empower as many XL Bully owners as possible in order to protect their dogs from euthanasia. This is our chance, and yours as a nation of devoted dog owners, to have some control over how many XL Bullies are killed. Sadly and inevitably we can't save them all, but we can do our very best to save as many as we possibly can. A dog’s nature is a reflection only of how much he or she has been loved & nurtured.
No matter how much, nor how little you can afford, please know that the enormity of your gesture alone, will equally contribute towards saving a life❤️.
Please help us to help them.
The photo is of an XL Bully who was abandoned due to him having an anal prolapse and he urgently needed vet treatment at the out of hours emergency vet clinic. He is 16 weeks old. We’ve named him Koki as it means ‘bright light’ and ‘hopeful fortune’ which is something that XL Bullies need right now-a hopeful future.
