GMO-Free T-shirts

GMO Free Florida  (GMOFFL) is a grassroots organization that has been educating and organizing about the issue of GMOs since 2010.  Our goal is to get mandatory labeling of genetically modified organisms  (GMOs) and eventually ban the release of all GMO's into the environment. We belong to a coalition of states working towards mandatory labeling of genetically engineered foods.

Some recent successes:
Resolutions supporting GMO labeling passed in the City of Hallandale Beach, City of Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale and most recent, Margate.  In addition, GMOFFL has been instrumental in stalling the release of Genetically Modified Mosquitoes in the Florida Keys and helping create a demand for more farmers and local agriculture across our state.

We rely on public support to pay operating costs such as printing informational fliers that we give out to the public, tabling at events, database and web site upkeep, and a host of other costs associated with running a business and campaign.

We are raising money to get some t-shirts printed to raise awareness and funds for the cause. One of our leading sponsors, Heal the Planet, has agreed to match any donations received for the next 30 days up to the value of $2,500.
