$50K for Schools: GMTNS Autism Support

Donation protected
In the heart of our communities, public schools strive to offer education to every child. Yet, amidst their efforts, Special Education programs, especially for students on the autism spectrum, face an uphill battle. Limited resources, outdated tools, and the absence of specialized training for educators create barriers that many of our children struggle to overcome. These challenges hinder their learning and dim the bright potential within each unique mind.

This April, during Autism Awareness Month, GMTNS (Give Me Time And Space, www.gmtns.com) aims to raise $50,000 to help support Public School Special Education programs and expand Autism Awareness. Your donation offers hope for a brighter future for students in need. It means updating resources, incorporating the latest technologies, enhancing learning environments, and training educators. Support us to ensure every child, especially those on the autism spectrum, gets the chance to thrive. Your contribution is an investment in an inclusive, equitable education system where every student has the opportunity to shine.

With every donation, you empower us to help:

70% for Enhance Learning: Acquire iPads and computers equipped with special applications and programs, tailor education to meet the unique needs of students with special requirements, and outfit community centers with these vital tools. Money will be allocated to Irvington High School for chromebooks for their special education classrooms, Timber Creek High School to utilize sensory rooms, and Camps for supplying each student with school supplies and sensory devices.

30% For Spread Awareness: Invest in creating and distributing educational content across various social media platforms, igniting conversations and understanding about autism. This includes education booths set up in schools and stores with educational pamphlets as well as contacts and resources for families that are seeking aid from experts.

Why help GMTNS?

My journey began in 2011 when my younger brother, Andrew, was diagnosed with autism. Witnessing his struggles and triumphs firsthand instilled a profound sense of patience, compassion, and a passion to make a difference. Andrew’s journey from facing challenges due to the lack of resources and training provided to Special Education teachers to thriving in a specialized school environment made me realize how a supportive and understanding environment impacted my brother's life.

Born from a deeply personal journey, GMTNS strives to illuminate the path of Autism Awareness across communities and schools. GMTNS’ mission is to create an inclusive, understanding world where every individual is recognized for their unique strengths and potential. Our inception was inspired by the realization that while awareness is vital, there is a critical need for actionable support within educational systems for autistic students.

Join Us in Making a Difference: Together, we can turn the tide, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and understanding.

Let's unite to bring to light the infinite possibilities that await when we give our time, space, and heart to those on the autism spectrum. Your contribution can shape a future where every individual is empowered to reach their full potential, irrespective of the hurdles they face.

Donate now and be a part of this transformative journey. Every dollar brings us closer to a world where understanding, compassion, and education pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive tomorrow.
