Hi! I'm making this fundraiser on behalf of my partner Mac.

Mac has gotten an incredible opportunity to have top surgery this February. This will be life-changing and life-affirming for him! He is so grateful to have already received support that made it possible to get this surgery on the books.

However -- Mac is self-employed and does not have PTO. Because of the physical nature of his job (he's a hairdresser), he will have to take significant time off work to recover from this major surgery. He's a single parent who supports two teenagers. He also owns and operates a hair salon. This fundraiser will help keep his bills paid, his family sheltered and fed, and will make it possible for him to focus on healing during this time.
