We are raising money for my father who sadly passed away this year. Our goal is to name a school after my dad in the village he grew up in, India. Below is my fathers obituary to let you know a little about how amazing a man my father is.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pashaura Singh Dhaliwal, son of Late Joginder Singh and Bhagwan Kaur. Pashaura Dhaliwal was born August 5th 1954 in Chhiniwal Kalan, Barnala district of Punjab. He moved to Canada in 1981 to start a family and give a better life for his future children. Since moving to Canada and to Abbotsford Pashaura Dhaliwal has been a pillar in his community. Working many labour jobs to provide for his family from, lumber mills, plant nurseries and picking and planting berries. He would teach other families who immigrated from India his skill sets in his fields so they in-return could help out their family. He could be found at the Khalsa Diwan Society Sikh Temple on South Fraser way where he volunteered countless hours. He would receive awards for his many hours served and was rewarded with being accepted as a member of the Sikh Temple. Pashaura Dhaliwal is survived by his wife Surinder Kaur Dhaliwal, 3 children Lucky Sehrai, Sunee Dhaliwal, and Jessie Dhaliwal. As well as his two grandchildren Manak and Ronik Sehrai.
