Heart Transplant and Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Please consider helping Chuck with his Heart Transplant and medical expense’s.

Eleven years ago Chuck had a widomaker heart attack and they didn’t think he would survive, but he did. He received a Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator along with a stent and had been mostly stable until about six weeks ago. Chuck took some time off to help his brother through surgery when he fell ill. He thought he may of had Covid and was checked for that. He later went to the ER where he found out he had Pneumonia and Congestive Heart Failure after a week stay in the hospital he was able to return home. After being home for only several days he was rushed back to the hospital due to having another heart attack, when he was stable enough they transferred him to MUSC where he was evaluated to see if he would be a candidate for a heart transplant.
After being evaluated, another stent placement he was placed on the heart transplant list. As of yesterday he was 3rd on the list.

Chuck is 55 year old and his only source of income, he’s a full time employee at the local VA Hospital in Charleston. He has worked in the medical field as a Respiratory Therapist or Sleep Technologist for almost 30yrs. He’s a hard worker who would often work two jobs.

Anything that is raised will go to help pay for medical bills and expenses that may arise while he is unable to work.

Please consider helping Chuck, he’s the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back or his last dollar.
