A Mother's Love... El Amor de Madre

Hi, my name is Viviana Ortiz and I work at Cameron Elementary school in Humboldt Park. I am raising money for a student of ours Jeremi Castro. Jeremi was in a tragic car accident back in Ecuador which left him disabled and severely burned. He is currently on a feeding tube and lost his right eye and is undergoing many surgeries to help repair his injuries. Jeremi's mom made the brave journey to the U.S seeking life saving help for Jeremi. She has no car and takes the bus every day to and from Jeremi's long term care facility in Chicago Ridge in the bitter cold. I am asking for any support to help Mom with medical bills, transportation to and from long term care facility, and support with her youngest son Jose. This family has been through so much and unfortunately they have no support system here in the U.S. Any little amount helps. Thank you.

Hola, mi nombre es Viviana Ortiz y trabajo en la escuela primaria Cameron en Humboldt Park. Estoy recaudando dinero para un alumno nuestro Jerermi Castro. Jeremi sufrió un trágico accidente automovilístico en Ecuador que lo dejó discapacitado y gravemente quemado. Actualmente está conectado a una sonda de alimentación, perdió el ojo derecho y se somete a muchas cirugías para ayudar a reparar sus lesiones. La madre de Jeremi hizo un valiente viaje a los EE. UU. en busca de ayuda para salvarle la vida a Jeremi. Ella no tiene carro y viaja por bus en el frio 2 horas para estar con Jeremi. Estoy pidiendo apoyo para ayudar a mamá con la atención médica, el transporte hacia y desde el centro de atención a largo plazo y apoyo con su hijo menor, José. Esta familia ha pasado por mucho y lamentablemente no tienen un sistema de apoyo aquí. Cualquier pequeña cantidad ayuda. Gracias.
