On Saturday,November 1, Neil (age 10) had an accident with a wood splitter and his right hand was completely severed.
He was airlifted to Toledo hospital and then transferred to Ann Arbor where he underwent a 10 hour surgery to reattach his hand.
The doctors said that the first 24 hours are crucial to if the hand takes our not. And as of this morning (24 hrs later) he has circulation and has movement in every finger as well as feeling.
So it appears that he is turned corner, as the Doctor said every day after the first, the odds will increase exponentially of the limb surviving. His parents, Andy and Jessica have a family of ten children.
This will be a long road for them and they need financial help as they live quite a distance from the hospital along with help with the medical costs.
Please keep them all in your prayers !
