Technology for All

My name is John and I would like to raise money for two reasons ultimately. Before we get to the why, let me tell you a little about myself. I am a technology nerd, and have created and maintain a few websites for organizations and small businesses in the area either for free or very cheap. I actively volunteer to support the LGBT community through my local center and help plan one of the pride events in the area. 

The first reason I am raising money is to purchase myself a new computer in order to keep being able to support these organizations (I use my computer A LOT and it is 9 years old now and can't quite keep up anymore). The second reason I would like to raise money is to be able to donate computers to nonprofits and to others in need that aren't able to buy technology for themselves. Depending on how much money I raise, I would love to be able to buy cell phones with plans to those in need as well. I would like to donate a few computers to the LGBT Center of Raleigh and the LGBTQ Center of Durham so they can keep supporting the LGBT community in the area. 

I have a lofty goal of $10,000 which would allow me to buy several computers to these nonprofits and others in need. Anything you could give for this cause would be amazing!
