A Mission Born from Rescue

In 2014, Jackie Lovern rescued me, John Griveas, at a time when I was homeless, struggling with addiction, and facing an uncertain future as a single dad. Jackie gave me a home, a purpose, and the chance to be the father my son needed. Together, we turned her hobby—making treats for her beloved dog, Sgt Pepperoni—into a small business with a big mission.

Fetch! Dog Treats™ became more than a business. It’s a place where hope and opportunity thrive. Today, we employ Congolese refugee women who are rebuilding their lives in Buffalo, offering them stability, skills, and community.

Why We Need Your Help

In January 2024, we moved into our new facility in North Buffalo, a space that has allowed us to continue baking and supporting the incredible refugee women and families who depend on us. This new home has been a game-changer, but we’re still facing challenges as demand for Fetch! Dog Treats™ continues to grow.
