GoFundHer: Cecile Laundre

Hey everyone, our friend and client, John Laundre, an Assistant Professor in Biology over at Western Oregon University, was recently diagnosed with cancer and is now in hospice care.  He's declining rapidly. His daughter, Cecile, is only 18 years old and she is stepping up and working with us to sell their home in Corvallis right now.

Cecile's mother had actually already passed away years ago when I helped them buy this home and settle into Oregon.  Many of you know her because your kids graduated high school a year ago with her.  She's grown up very fast, as you can imagine, and is taking on enormous responsibilities. She's a college student now, and she's relocated her dad to be with family in the Midwest, but she's going to need to come back and forth at least one more time to deal with their possessions.

Cecile is going to have a lot of expenses in the coming months as she does this, and figures out starting the next chapter of her life as well. If you can contribute anything to help Cecile out, it'd be very much appreciated. Even just to let her know that she's not alone in all this and that the community cares, I really do think would go a long way.
