Go Fund Lenny

For those that might not know me, I'm Emma and I'm a close friend of Dani, Paul & Lenny. I've set up this GoFundMe page to help support these guys after horrible incident this past weekend.

Dani was out walking Leonard early evening on Saturday 18 May when Len was attacked completely unprovoked by two dogs after their owner lost control. Leonard spent 6 hours in surgery on Saturday night and is now at home recovering from multiple puncture wounds on his legs, chest and sides. Dani was also injured during the attack when one of the dogs bit her hand while she was trying to get Leonard away to safety.

The owner of the two dogs responsible has come forward but is not willing/able to provide complete financial compensation for the multiple vet and medical bills. The law in Queensland does not automatically hold the owners of dogs responsible for such attacks financially liable and to get full financial compensation it is likely they would have to involve lawyers and go through another extremely stressful process.

I know that everyone who's met Lenny knows that he is the most gentle and lovable soul who has already been through so much in life. I would love if Dani and Paul's community could come together to ease the financial burden of this horrific event. Every dollar counts and anything you can give would make a world of difference <3
