GOFUNDME FOR RENT & HOSPITAL BILLS

Hi, my name is Emily, most of you know that though. :) While I have definitely seen others GoFundMe fundraisers and have definitely contributed when I could, I never imagined that I would be posting one on behalf of myself, but here I am. There has been a lot going on these last few months, which I know some of you do and do not know about. I have moved into a new place, started and new job and I now have had three different surgeries in the last days. As a result, I am going on three weeks not working. To my surprise, I had to have to gall bladder out on Monday. I thought that I had an infection from doing so and saw my surgeon bright and early Wednesday morning, with no infection to be seen. My Mom had to call an ambulance for me on Wednesday night/very early Thursday morning and they discovered that there was fluid (a lot) where my gall bladder was removed and in my abdomen. I have NEVER experienced this kind of pain before. There is a 1-3% chance of your bile duct being injured during the surgery I had done. Early Friday morning they attempted a less invasive surgery approach, which ultimately failed. Saturday morning, I had another surgery, wherein several more incisions were done and over a LITER of bile drained from me and now also a pouch hanging outside of my body collecting extra. It is going on three weeks without working and after moving into my own apartment and with all of these medical bills now and of course the holidays and a lot of things things going on, I am asking for help. This is sooo hard to even write this. Even if you would be willing to share this post, that would be so greatly appreciated. Prayers are of course the most appreciated of all. For everyone that I have not called and/or written back lately, I am extremely sorry. Please, please know how important each and every one of you are to me. Aaron and I are going through a very amicable divorce, which I am very grateful to it being amicable, this of course doesn’t make it very difficult though still. If you could keep all of us, especially sweet Harmon, in your prayers that would be so greatly appreciated. Everything donation, prayer and thoughts mean so much right now.
