As some of you may know, Davisa Banks is a compassionate, skilled float nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital. Davisa is known for her beautiful smile and sincere care for her patients. The person that sees being a nurse and caring for others as her calling is now the one in need of our love, care and prayers. Two of her children were killed early morning Saturday, January 12th in a tragic car accident as they were hit by a drunk driver.
Her 22-year-old daughter, Antoinette, attempted to avoid the collision as the driver veered into her lane but was not able to avoid being hit. Sean, her 15-year-old brother was also a passenger in the car.
Davisa has a strong faith in God, and we ask that you please keep her and her family in your prayers.
As the hours have passed today, and news of this unbelievably sad tragedy have spread, so many coworkers of Davisa have reached out asking what they can do to help that the phone has not stopped ringing. We are setting up this fundraiser to help with funeral expenses and time off of work for Davisa and her husband, Earl. Although we and so many others wish we could do more to heal their broken hearts, we know that assisting with these expenses will help to relieve the worry over finances.
Davisa has agreed to the creation of this page. She is standing strong in her faith and is humbled by the outpouring of love and support.
Any donation, and especially prayers, will be so very much appreciated.
